'Ynni i Ffynnu: Renewable energy for business growth' will be providing more than 220 small businesses with on-site energy audits to identify the appropriate renewable energy solutions that can be used to generate an on-going revenue stream.

The background to this project comes from a new incentive scheme introduced by the government, whereby premium guaranteed rates are payable for most types of green energy produced. This pays you a premium price for all renewable energy generated, with rates guaranteed for up to 20 years, index-linked.

In addition to highlighting a range of energy saving measures that can also be adopted, Severn Wye Energy Agency and Ecodyfi are establishing a network of local installers that supports the ethos of investing in the local economy.

This support service is free to all qualifying micro and social enterprises.
